  • Transport to the dealer for calibrations

Collision shop, New Jersey. Audi, left-front hit.

Three days after the rebuttal, the insurer added the calibrations

The insurer wrote $12,534. Reclaimr built the rebuttal the same day on 14 disputed lines. Three days later the insurer's next supplement added or raised most of them, including:

  • Adaptive cruise distance sensor aiming, with battery support
  • Bumper and fender trial fit, and a suspension check after the hit
  • More color sand, de-nib and buff time

Closed 21 July. The insurer's estimate rose $1,957, to $14,491.

Shop's estimate after its own revision; it was $17,492 when the rebuttal was built. The supplement had other changes too, so not all of the $1,957 came from the rebuttal.

How we counted. Reclaimr production data, November 2025 to 23 October 2026, collision shops only. Claims 1 and 2: outcomes come from each shop's payment record in its estimating system. Claim 3 compares the insurer's estimate before and after the rebuttal, line by line. Reclaimr built the case; the shop ran the claim.
